The venture
Insola Manufacturing Namibia is the project company being established in Namibia. Its shareholders are Solunex Group Limited, Mauritius, the Insola group holding company, and a Namibian industrial partner. The name is reserved and incorporation is in progress.
The cell technology is ZEBRA, the n-type IBC cell developed by ISC Konstanz in Germany. The master licence covering sub-Saharan Africa is in negotiation between ISC Konstanz and EquuSol Limited, and any Namibian sub-licence would be granted in cooperation with the German technology owner and subject to its consent.
